Originally a duo, The Dying Seconds is now a fully-fledged band, comprised of: David Cantan, Jack Quilligan, Gary Donald, Charlie Keegan, Naomi Moriarity and Mark Rooney. Their current album 'Glimmerers' has been mentioned in the same breath as acts like The National and Efterklang. Added to this, The National's Aaron Dessner described the album as "the ferocious coming out of a great new band, a stunningly beautiful and ambitious debut album."

SEAN O'HAGAN (THE HIGH LLAMAS) IN THE FIVE-TRACK SHUFFLE - WED, FEB 8
When you think of fascinating musical careers, Sean O'Hagan's shouldn't be far from your thoughts. After being part of seminal Irish group Microdisney in the 1980s, he went on to form The High Llamas; a band that he is a part of to this day.
Prolific, inventive, yet always wearing their influences for all to hear, The High Llamas' will celebrate 20 years together later this year. Sean O'Hagan has chosen the tracks for tonight's Five-Track Shuffle.
THE BELLRAYS LIVE FROM THE PALEO FESTIVAL (SWITZERLAND) - THURS, FEB 9
The BellRays began in 1991, and still hail from Riverside, California, just east of Los Angeles. Call them Blues, call them Rock; they are perhaps both! This set was recorded at the Paleo festival, Switzerland.
